Michigan
The level of assessment in Michigan is 50% by statute, so the multiplier is 2 statewide (recent market changes make a 2.2 multiplier a little more true to life).
Note that since 1994 “taxable value” can no longer increase more than 5% in a year. The taxable value is the same as the assessed value the year after a transfer, but thereafter may bear little relation to assessment.
